Munkánk végeztével, s otthonainkkal hátunk mögött,
itt találsz minket, amint járjuk a világ útjait.
Dicsérünk Téged, Urunk,
Mindazért a szépért, amit a természetben nekünk adtál,
az összes jóért,
mit az embernek szántál.
Újfent dicsérünk,
munkád csodáiért,
amik Jézus Krisztus kegyelmével áradna ránk.
Köszönjük Urunk,
hogy adtad ezeket a boldog napokat,
valódi, teljes örömünkre.
Urunk, segíts, tisztelni
a természet szépségeit
és mindenét, mi körülvesz,
észrevenni jeleid,
mind az emberi életben,
mind ott, hol szükséget szenvednek,
hogy felfedezhessük azt, ami valóban körülvesz.
Hogy reményeinkkel Benned felismerjük,
hogyan segítenek királyságodba azok,
akikkel utunk során találkozva
végül színed elé vezetsz minket.
Hogy, hazatérésünkkor,
magunkkal vihessük a boldog tudatot,
hogy milyen bőségesek is ajándékaid.
Szűz Mária, Isten Anyja,
légy velünk:
Nyisd fel te szemünket
a csodákra és hálára,
adj nekünk békességet a nehéz órákon is,
és erőt, hogy kellőképpen értékelni tudjuk az élet drága ajándékait.

Our work is over, our homes behind us
and here You find walking the paths of the world.
We praise You Lord
for the beauty You have bestowed on nature and
for all the good things
You have granted to man.
And we praise You once again
for the wonders of Your works
through the grace of Jesus Christ.
We thank You Lord
for giving us these days of pleasure
to enjoy to the full.
Lord, help us to respect
the beauty of nature and
those around us
and to read the signs that You
give us, both through the life and the want of
life that we discover around us.
That, with our hopes in You,
the people we meet
along our may help us to
know your kingdom and bring us to Your presence.
That, on our return home,
may we take with us the joy of
having known the abundance of Your gifts.
May Mary, Mother of God,
be with us:
may She awaken in us
our sense of wonder and gratitude,
give us tranquility in times of hardship
and grant us the power to appreciate the precious gift of life.
